gain clinical experienceSt. Luke’s Hospital and Health Network has been a leader in bringing leading-edge technology to the Lehigh Valley and providing advanced services to the people of the community. For nursing students, this means having access to the best data, working with the best equipment and the most experienced clinicians, and being part of forward-thinking health care. The concept of research is introduced early and threaded throughout the nursing curriculum. Students conduct their own research and learn to appreciate the value of research in solving real-world clinical practice problems.

What is life like outside of the classroom or clinical agency?

Undergraduate nursing majors live with other Moravian College students in one of the several types of residences at Moravian College. Nursing majors are fully integrated into the Moravian College community and participate in a wide variety of cocurricular and extra curricular activities that include athletics, arts and student-run organizations.

Caring for the patient in a respectful, compassionate way is at the heart of the nursing education program at St. Luke’s School of Nursing at Moravian College. Quality and cost-effective health care remains at the core of the Health Network's mission.
