Barbara Kozero is a multimedia artist who exhibits her work both locally and nationally. Her recent works have concentrated primarily on mosaic reliefs and related drawings.


Among the many collections in which her work is included are Lehigh University Art Galleries Collection, Bethlehem, PA; Arkansas Art Center Children’s Museum, Little Rock, AR; Reeves Library of Moravian College; the Ray Holland Collection; Lehigh Valley Health Network at the Cedar Crest and Muhlenberg Campuses; and Martin Guitar Museum in Nazareth, PA.


Public works include the mosaic murals “I Have a Dream” at Marvine Elementary School and the “Visual Idyll” for the Pediatric Intensive Care unit at LVHN Cedar Crest campus.

Kozero’s work has been featured in the 64th edition of the fine arts magazine Ceramics: Art and Perception as well as the July 2011 edition of The Sounding Board, the official magazine of the Martin Guitar Company.

Kozero has taught at Moravian College since 1999. She has also taught at DeSales University, Center Valley, PA; Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA; Northampton County Community College, Bethlehem, PA, University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI;kozero work and Lifeschool Open University, San Francisco, CA. She attained a public school certification in 2000 and experienced with elementary and secondary age groups as well as special education. She currently teaches in the Bethlehem Area School District.

"Humor, whether satirical or whimsical, is the underlying theme of my work. I delight in rich and varied materials and change my medium as the subject dictates."
