Studio Art Outcomes

Jonathan Latiano 2006 received the MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).  He is an installation artist and teaches at the Corcoran Institute College of Art.


Heather (McGarvie) Corey 2005 received the MFA in Printmaking/Papermaking from the University of Pennsylvania.  She teaches art in the Paramus area and maintains a studio in Hoboken, NJ; she exhibits her work throughout the region.


Jason Travers 1994, MFA in Painting from University of Pennsylvania, is now a full-time faculty member in the art department at Lehigh University.  He exhibits his work in many regional exhibitions.


Katina Sossiadis 1993, MFA in Painting from University of Pennsylvania, also studied film at New York University.   She started a film program at the Baum School of Art in Allentown and also teaches at Lehigh University and Northampton Community College.  Katina is a filmmaker whose work has appeared in several important film festivals.


Benjamin Long 1984 is an artist working in the Philadelphia area.  His work has been shown in many solo and group exhibitions and is included in many museum and corporate collections.


Rosemary Geseck 1978 received the MFA in Painting from the University of Arizona.  She runs a successful mural painting business, exhibits in many regional shows, and is an instructor at The Baum School of Art.


Deb Slahta 1977 was a Mathematics major at Moravian who took one course in Ceramics to meet her art requirement, and found her life’s work as a Ceramist.  She is a Banana Factory faculty member in Ceramics and maintains a studio there, and she is a regular exhibitor in many regional shows.


Jeff Epstein 1976 received the MFA in Painting from Brooklyn College and teaches art at Suffolk County Community College.  He exhibits in the Brooklyn area as well as nationally and internationally.


Susie Hyer 1976 is a plein-air painter who travels widely to pursue her work.  She is based is Evergreen, Colorado, where she maintains a studio and offers workshops.  Her work is included in many private and corporate collections and has won numerous awards.
