The Ecological Society of America Home Page contains a wealth of information about the society, especially information about how to join and career/job opportunities in the field of ecology.

ECOLOG-L is the listserv operated by the Ecological Society of America. If you sign up you can send and receive e-mails from all those who subscribe to the list. Of special interest to students are the many announcements of summer internships and graduate school opportunities that are sent by faculty from around the world who are looking for students interested in studying ecology. This is a "must" listserv to join if you want to do a summer research project or go to graduate school in ecology!

Moravian College has hosted a summer program for youth in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University for the past ten years. For most of those years a number of Moravian College students have worked as Resident Assistants or Teaching/Lab Assistants. For students who may be interested in this type of summer employment now is the time to apply. There are opportunities to work at Moravian College or at about 20 other sites around the world. Further information is available from Dick Claussen (merjc01 at moravian dot edu) or at x7859. You can also read about these positions at the CTY website.
