Be a Mentor
As a Moravian College alumnus, we are pleased to inform you that we have upgraded to a new version of the Mentor Module, found at moravian.experience.com. This new version will offer you many benefits, including more control over your participation level, and ease of use with improved functionality and the ability to search for a Mentor of your own! PLEASE take a moment to UPDATE or CREATE your profile to include your latest contact and career information. Upon logging in, we recommend you take the following key steps:
Create or Update your Profile: This contains your latest contact information (which will remain private until you accept Mentee connection requests), objectives, and the type of guidance you'd like to provide so it's important to keep them current.
Upload or Update your Resume: Both your Mentor Profile and Resume can exist in the Experience Portfolio, which is a tool to help users showcase their experience and skill sets. In Portfolio, the Resume section contains your Education History and Work Experience so it's important to keep this information updated, as it is helpful information for Mentees as they search for Mentors.
Select your Settings: Set your desired level of participation, which enables you to control how many Mentees you have at one time. You can also adjust your Mentor status within your Settings.
As a Mentor in the system, as long as your status is Active and you have not reached your maximum number of Mentees, you will appear in search results based on relevance. As you receive requests from Mentees, you simply have to "Accept" to become connected or "Decline". If you are already a participant in ACAP as a mentor, any of your existing connections to Mentees have been carried over to the new system.
