Student Life

Campus Organizations

Moravian College is committed to enhancing students' leadership development through an integrated program of curricular and co-curricular experiences that engage students throughout their undergraduate years. Accordingly, various programs and activities are available to foster skill development and to prepare students for the leadership challenges they will face in a rapidly changing world.
The College supports many student activities and organizations through which students can develop such leadership skills as they become aware of their own potential. Among more than 60 clubs and organizations on campus are the nationally recognized Moravian College Choir; Benigna, the College yearbook; the Comenian, the College newspaper; the Manuscript, the literary magazine; and the Moravian College Theatre Company. In addition, fraternities and sororities offer students the chance to participate in service and social activities, fellowship, and leadership experiences. Community service opportunities, coordinated by the Community Service Office, engage a significant number of students each year. A local chapter of the national honor society Omicron Delta Kappa recognizes academic achievement and leadership qualities of a select number of students and organizations. The Multicultural Club seeks to show all students the benefits of a diverse campus community. For more information on campus organizations, visit the Moravian College website.

IMPACT, the student activities program board, strives to present Innovative Multicultural Programming for Campus Togetherness. Composed of six program committees, IMPACT plans a wide variety of activities and events that include professional comedy and other entertainment; all-College dances; bingo; karaoke nights; lectures; concerts; films; trips to New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., area malls, sporting events, and amusement parks; and more.
Students participate in campus programming and decision-making through the elected United Student Government, the various committees of IMPACT, participation in standing College committees, and representation on the College's Board of Trustees.
