SCi - Safe Computing initiative

Due to the prevelance of viruses, trojans, worms and spyware, CIT has developed a plan to help make computing on our networks safer.

The Safe Computing initiative addresses those parts of desktop computing that are most vulnerable and that can be protected with minimal effort. It is a layered approach to safe computing. Each layer provides a specific type of protection. If one of the layers is compromised, the other layers can continue to protect the computer until the problem can be fixed.

Read through the instructions below to make sure that you have taken all of the necessary steps in order to protect your computer while using Moravian's networks. After reading the instructions, take time to find out more about SCi.
