Dr. Dilendik is coordinator of the
post-baccalaureate certification programs. He served
as Chair of the Education Department from 1980 until
1997. He completed his undergraduate degree at Boston
University (psychology), masters degrees at Howard
University (urban education) and the State University
of New York at Binghamton (advanced technology and
computer science), and a Ph.D. degree at the State
University of New York at Buffalo (educational psychology).
Dr. Dilendik teaches courses in educational psychology
and action research. He has published microcomputer
software packages, professional papers in the areas
of educational psychology and problem solving, and
chapters in an educational psychology textbook. He
has also co-authored a text in quantitative problem
solving. Dr. Dilendik has received the Triangle Honor
Society Award for Distinguished Teaching and the
Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching. He was
a co-recipient of the Hall of Innovation Award for
the development of the CORE Problem-Solving Model.
