Discover Theatre at Moravian

At Moravian, students learn theatre by doing it.  The theatre company includes students with all levels of experience and a wide variety of academic interests.  Although there is no theatre major at the college, students are able to design majors tailored to fit their academic goals.

As the director of theatre at Moravian, one of my goals is to create opportunities for students to be involved at many different levels.  This season, we are proud to showcase four projects directed by our students, and two written by them. A student can participate in a workshop, a play reading, a full college production, or even assist on a professional production through our partnership with Touchstone Theatre.

This season we’ve also built in more opportunities for the audience to get a deeper understanding of the art of theatre. We hope you’ll join us for a glimpse into the creative process at by attending a workshop, or by sticking around after a performance for one of our Friday night discussions.

Theatre is a wonderful vehicle to learn about the world and about yourself.  I invite you—in the company or in the audience—to discover theatre at Moravian.
