In order to make an appointment at the Writing Center, you can stop by to sign our appointment sheet or call us. We suggest you sign up well in advance of your assignment's due date in order to ensure proper session time.

When you have an appointment, it is important to bring as much information about the assignment with you as possible (handouts, class notes, etc.). The tutors can help you through all stages of your writing.

Spring 2012 Semester Writing Center Hours

The Moravian College Writing Center—located on the second floor of Zinzendorf Hall—is open for the Spring 2012 semester. Our hours for this semester will be as follows:

Sunday: 6 PM to 8 PM
Monday: 10 AM to 2 PM; 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM
Tuesday: 10 AM to 2 PM; 3 PM to 7 PM;
Wednesday: 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM; 1:30 PM to 7 PM
Thursday: 10 AM to 4:30 PM; 7 PM to 9 PM
Friday: 11 AM to 1 PM; 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM

We will be closed March 3-11 (for Spring Break) and April 6-9 (for Easter). We will close for the semester on Friday, April 27.

Please please feel free to schedule an appointment either by stopping in or by calling (ext. 1592) during our open hours. We also accept walk-in appointments on a first come, first served basis. A typical tutoring session is 30 minutes long, and Writing Center tutors are able to work with papers for all majors at any stage of the writing process.

Finally, please note that if you are unable to access the second floor of Zinzendorf Hall, Writing Center tutors are able to work with you in Reeves Library or another accessible campus location.
