Jamie Thierolf (Spanish/Elementary Education, May 2012) was awarded a Fulbright Grant for the English Teaching Assistantship to Madrid, Spain. She was mentored by Dr. Nilsa Lasso-von Lang (Spanish major adviser and Honors Project co-director) and Dr. Claudia Mesa. Congratulations Jamie!
After successfully receiving Honors in Spanish and graduating in December 2011, Sam Grigsby has now been accepted to graduate school. He will pursue a masters degree in International Relations at NYU, with concentrations in international development and Latin America.
Katherine Pritchett ('12, Political Science and Spanish) has successfully completed her Honors project titled, "The Construction of Community in Turn-of-the Century Latin American Crónicas."
