Graduate Schools and Careers
Most Moravian history graduates will go to graduate schools. What does this mean? It does not mean that all of our students would go to Ph.D. programs. But it means that in five years after graduating from Moravian most history students have received a graduate degree or are attending graduate or professional programs at different levels.
Many history students embark on teaching careers in schools and get their masters degree in education or history.
A number of our students go to law schools.
An increasing number of our students go to graduate schools in public history and library science to become librarians, curators in museums, archivists, and specialists in historic preservation.
Some of our students go to Ph.D. programs in history to pursue academic careers in colleges and universities.
