Moravian College Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan
Eligible employees enrolled in the College sponsored PPO Health Plan may be eligible for an employer subsidy to reimburse qualified medical in-network deductible expenses. Eligibility and the amount of the subsidy will be calculated according base earnings. Employees who earn in excess of $50,000 are ineligible for the subsidy.
Eligible expenses incurred through the end of the calendar must be submitted to the Office of Human Resources through March 31 of the next plan year. Include a copy of your Health Plan Explanation of Benefits (EBO) with your Application for Reimbursement to document the eligible deductible expense. Reimbursements are issued monthly, the first Thursday of the month. Checks are mailed to the employee at their home address.
Employer Health Insurance Medical Deductible Subsidy Eligibility Criteria
The reimbursement will be stepped to provide more reimbursement to those lower income employees and less or none to those with higher incomes.
