Moravian College’s Development Office has an immediate opening for an Assistant Director of Annual Giving. This position reports to the Director of Annual Giving and the Director of Major Gifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the phonathon program, the Senior Class Gift Fund, and Young Alumni Giving program, while also assisting with special events and maintaining a list of prospects

This position is full-time, 12 months, and eligible for full benefits

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s degree; prior fundraising experience, preferably in higher education is a plus. Ability to recruit, motivate and train volunteers; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.  The position demands strong interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills, excellent verbal and written skills, as well as the ability and desire to work closely with all constituencies of the College. Requires a team player who can multitask and work under firm deadlines while maintaining confidentiality. Computer literacy including internet competency as well as experience with Microsoft Office, particularly database applications, word processing and spreadsheets is essential. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
