JOB POSTING: Assistant Director of Intercultural Advancement & Student Programs
The Assistant Director of Intercultural Advancement and Student Programs coordinates diversity and inclusion initiatives and advises the student programming board to coordinate student activities. This is a live-on, on-call position. Campus housing and a partial meal plan are provided as a part of the compensation package.
This position full-time/12 months and eligible for full benefits.
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates with a Master's degree in a related field with experience at a liberal arts college is preferred. Bachelor’s degree, experience in multicultural affairs and program and event management experience is required. Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable. Daily interaction and advisement of students is an essential function of this position therefore, excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary as is the ability to communicate effectively to a variety of constituencies. The incumbent will demonstrate a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and social justice and have the ability to unite the campus community around these issues. Must possess superior organizational and program planning skills and must have excellent computer literacy. High energy level, flexibility with regard to hours, and a commitment to student development are all required. As a live-on, on-call position, the ability to make clear decisions and exercise sound judgment in emergency situations is vital.
