DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS
The Director of Admissions is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and tactics to meet recruitment targets in line with the College’s strategic goals. The Director oversees the internal, day-to-day operations of the Admissions Office, and will manage a modest recruitment territory. The Director of Admissions will lead, mentor, develop, support, and supervise the admissions staff (counselors and office assistants).
This position is full-time/12 months and eligible for full benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates are required to have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, a master’s degree is preferred; enthusiasm for representing Moravian College to prospective students, their parents, secondary school counselors, and other college constituencies; ability to communicate the value of a Moravian College education; ability to work cooperatively in a team environment, as well as an ability to work autonomously; effective oral and written communication skills; an appreciation for diversity, and for the strategic goals of Moravian College; ability to relate effectively to students from a variety of backgrounds; an ability to effectively and efficiently solve problems; a sense of humor. Experience with staff supervision; progressive experience in a college admissions office; an ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously; and an understanding of the college recruitment process and how technology supports that process are additional requirements. Candidates must be willing to undertake extensive travel involving varied hours, overnight stays, and occasional weekend commitments. Computer literacy as well as experience with Microsoft Office, particularly database applications, word processing and spreadsheets is essential.
