The Executive Director (ED) of Admission is responsible for managing day-to-day operations for the undergraduate admission and financial aid offices.  Reporting to, and working closely with, the Vice President for Enrollment Management, the ED will also play a key role in developing and implementing strategies and tactics to meet recruitment targets in line with the College’s strategic goals.  The ED will lead, mentor, develop, support, and supervise all staff comprising these areas.

This position is full-time/12 months and eligible for full benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates are required to have a baccalaureate degree in business or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred with demonstrated progressive experience in college admissions and financial aid. Candidates must have a genuine enthusiasm for representing Moravian College to prospective students, their parents, secondary school counselors, and other college constituencies as well as the ability to communicate the value of a Moravian College education and its mission. The position requires strong leadership, supervisory, analytical, administrative and organizational ability as well as superior interpersonal skills to deal with the diverse constituencies of the College and Seminary including current and prospective students, staff, faculty and at times, the Board of Trustees; handling all interactions with integrity and a sense of humor.  Must be a team player with the ability to work autonomously, problem solve and multitask using appropriate technologies. The position also requires travel involving varied hours, overnight stays, and weekend commitments as needed.  Computer literacy as well as experience with Microsoft Office, particularly database applications, word processing and spreadsheets is essential.
