Moravian College is accepting applications for a Fitness Center/Strength & Condition Assistant/Intern. This position will provide assistance to the Fitness Director / Strength and Conditioning Coach. The Intern will report to the Fitness Director in all matters relating to operations in the Fitness Center, Performance Center and Strength and Conditioning program. The administrative portion of the position will be assigned in game management and/or another area as determined by the Director of Athletics. All interns will be involved in at least one administrative unit of the department and asked to work on behalf of all programs. This is a full time position requiring the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Work related to fitness / strength and conditioning at the college level. Experience in other areas/levels considered (directly related personal experience or college courses may be substituted equally for up to one year’s experience); or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Must be able to work well with student-athletes.  Must hold current CPR/First Aid and National Certification. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered.
