JOB POSTING: Junior Programmer/Analyst

The Junior Programmer/Analyst will assist with the support and maintenance of administrative and academic systems for Moravian College, primarily focused on the Student Information System utilizing Jenzabar’s EX platform.  This position will also assist with the support of other Administrative Systems including the Card Security system, Dining Services, databases, reports, website portals, and the JRM platform which is built upon SalesForce CRM.  This position analyzes user needs, develops system requirements and procedures for use on the campus network and writes and maintains computer programs and web applications using C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript.  The Junior Programmer/Analyst reports to CIT’s Manager of Administrative Systems.

This position is full-time/12 months and eligible for full benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS:  A minimum of a baccalaureate degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.  Must have experience with objected oriented programming and data structures.  Two years of experience as a computer programmer with an understanding of relational databases is a preferred.  The candidate should also possess excellent oral and written communication skills to explain system operations to a variety of users. Other highly desirable qualifications are experience working with: Microsoft client/server environments; ERP systems such as Jenzabar EX; CRM systems such as Salesforce or JRM; SQL Server querying and the transforming and loading of data; Programming languages such as C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript; Ability to learn new software packages quickly; Perform system and process analysis.
