JOB POSTING: Registrar's Office Assistant
The Registrar's Office Assistant is responsible for the processing of transcript requests and other specialized requests as well as the verification and completion of data on the numerous forms received by the Registrar's Office. In addition, the person in this position assists in the completion of a variety of duties performed by the department. The Registrar's Office Assistant reports to the Assistant Registrar.
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or the equivalent training and experience, plus one to two years related experience. Must be detail-oriented and possess and exercise good judgment. Data input skills, analytical skills and some mathematical ability are essential. Must be able to maintain confidential information. Must be able to prioritize work, have excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and a pleasant telephone manner. Experience with Windows based applications desired. Knowledge of academic policies is preferred. Must become familiar with Financial Aid policies as they pertain to student registration.
