The Intercollegiate Wind Ensemble was comprised
of the finest wind and percussion players from:
Kutztown University
Lehigh University |
Moravian College
Muhlenberg College |
In 1998, Albert Neumeyer proposed
the IWE. In January 2010, the ensemble completed it's 12th year with a final performance. Each October the directors from the four institutions hand-picked
ensemble members and selected repertoire. Music was distributed in
December for a January weekend of rehearsals and a free performance.
In addition, a guest conductor was invited to participate. The
hosting duties rotated among the institutions.
