"Hamlet: Madness and the Extreme of Inaction
Along with a directed discussion on Philosophy & Madness"

Where: The Snyder Room in the HUB(ground floor conference room)
Time: 11:45am to 1:00pm


What: A paper presentation on Hamlet's Madness and Philosophy (as well as a preview of the Philosophy Conference)

This paper was given at least years Moravian College Undergraduate Philosophy Conference; it is being given as a talk to give the college community a chance to experience the kinds of papers there are given at the Philosophy Conference. We hope you will join us for tomorrow's talk and be encouraged to join us for conference as well. Please feel free to bring your lunch to the meeting tomorrow. PHILOSOPHY CONFERENCE

Call for Papers


Moravian College is proud to present their fourth annual undergraduate philosophy conference. We invite undergraduate students to submit papers on general philosophical topics to be presented at the conference scheduled for Saturday, March 16, 2013 and hosted at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA.

Plenary Speaker:  Dr. Roslyn Weiss, Clara H. Stewardson
 Professor of Philosophy
Lehigh University

Title: “Justice in Republic I”

Submission Guidelines:
Please send submissions as attachments in .doc format. Submissions may be on any philosophical topic and may be the entire paper or 250-word abstract. Please include a cover page with the following information:

  1. author’s name
  2.  title of paper
  3. institutional affiliation
  4. contact information (email, phone number, mailing address)
