The MORAVIAN COLLEGE Joint Board of Trustees invites nominations and applications for the position of president. The next president will build on the impressive record of retiring President Dr. Christopher M. Thomforde, who has served the institution since 2006.
The President serves as the chief executive officer of MORAVIAN COLLEGE, reporting to the Joint Board of Trustees. Signified by ALL CAPS, MORAVIAN COLLEGE includes three parts: Moravian College, the Moravian Theological Seminary and the Comenius Center. The President is responsible for the day-to-day administration, management, leadership and oversight over the operations of Moravian College, the affiliated Moravian Theological Seminary and the Comenius Center for graduate and continuing studies. The President works with a wide range of internal and external constituents to lead, support and sustain the COLLEGE’s vision, philosophy and mission, as well as to advocate locally, regionally and nationally for the distinctive liberal arts college mission.
