Library Services

Reeves Library is pleased to extend the use of its library to the groups listed above. Anyone with an outside borrowers card may access library databases and ejournals from the library and borrow books for a period of three weeks. The services of interlibrary loan, printing, wireless internet, and off campus access to library resources are not available.

Cards last for a period of one year, at which point they may be renewed for another year. This process may continue indefinitely.

  • For Alums
    • Alums who live within the 610 telephone area code and Emmaus may register to use the library. To register for a card, they must come in during open hours with a form of identification so that staff may verify their status as an alum.
  • For Local Teachers
    • Local teachers living in the 610 telephone area code or Emmaus may register for a card, provided they show identification to illustrate their status as a teacher who lives localy.
  • For Local Clergy
    • Clergy living in the 610 telephone area code or Emmaus may register for cards, provided they offer identification showing that they are a member of the clergy.
  • For members of the LVAIC Community
    • Presenting your student or Faculty/Staff ID card from your home institution to a reference librarian or to a library assistant in the circulation department will allow you to register for a card.

  • Retirees
    • Retired employees of Moravian College who live locally may also register for a card.
  • For members of the Bethlehem Community
    • Anyone is welcome to visit the library during its open hours and peruse its resources. However, if you do not fit into any of the categories above, you will not be able to check out books or access the library's online resources.
