Searching for periodical articles

Use databases to find journal, magazine, and newspaper articles on your topic. A database lists the contents of a select group of periodicals (and sometimes other publications) generally by subject, author, and title and provides publication information about each. Some databases provide summaries of each article, and others provide the full-text of some or all articles. The goal of this section is to explain and illustrate the most effective strategies to follow when hunting for periodical articles on a database.
