If
the subject of a site is time sensitive, ask the following questions
about the site:
Just
because a page was recently updated does not mean that the information
is up-to-date. Check to see if the material reflects recent
developments on the subject.
Are the sources cited current, or, if there are links to other
sources, do they still work? Broken links are a sign of neglect.
How
does the material on the site compare with other sources on
the subject?
Do
this: If there is no "last
updated" date, you can determine it by using your Internet
Browser. In Internet Explorer, click on File and then on Properties.
At the bottom is a modified date. In Netscape, click
on View, and then on Page Info. You will usually find a "last
modified" date.
