Greek Life has been a tradition at Moravian College for almost ninety years. Currently, nearly 20% of Moravian students are members of one of the College’s four national sororities, two national fraternities, or one local fraternity. Members of the Greek community, comprised of more than 250 undergraduates, are involved in various aspects of campus life and hold many leadership positions on athletic teams, student government, honor societies, and various other student organizations.
Fraternities and sororities are values-based organizations dedicated to the development of character and leadership. Each organization subscribes to a specific set of core values and beliefs that incorporate concepts of brotherhood or sisterhood, service to the College and community, scholarship, leadership, and building relationships congruent with the specific organization’s ideals and traditions.
Explore the Greek Life website, which will provide an introduction to different aspects of Moravian’s fraternity and sorority community. Prospective students, parents, and current students are encouraged to consider how they can also be a part of Moravian’s Greek community. From college days onward, affiliation with a Greek letter organization can be a positive, meaningful, and life-shaping experience.
