Greek Gold Star Program

The Greek Gold Star Program provides an opportunity for fraternities and sororities to promote and achieve common ideals and values upon which Greek organizations were founded. At the conclusion of each academic year, the Chapter President and other chapter leaders meet with the Gold Star Review Panel comprised of College administrators and faculty. The Chapter presents a summary of the year highlighting their strengths and accomplishments, as well as improvements in the past year and areas for additional improvement in the future.

Based upon their panel presentation and supporting documents, the Gold Star Review Panel awards each chapter with a Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum Star based upon their performance and success. Platinum Star Chapters surpass minimum expectations in all areas and demonstrate qualitative distinction in all areas. Gold Star Chapters also surpass minimum expectations in all areas and demonstrate qualitative distinction in all areas. However, there may still be need for improvement in some areas or minor issues to be addressed.

The 2013-2014 Platinum Star Chapters are Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority. The 2013-2014 Gold Star Chapter is Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority.
