Service Learning

Service-learning is defined as an experiential learning opportunity in which students work to address human and community needs while engaging in their own learning and development.  Service-learning opportunities are primarily designed by faculty members in specific courses.  The Center for Leadership and Service at Moravian College is available to assist faculty with making necessary connections with community agencies and organizations.

Moravian faculty who seek additional resources on service-learning should contact Dr. Michelle Schmidt, Director of Academic Leadership Programs.
