Academic Support Center

Mission

The Academic Support Center is committed to providing services to help students achieve academic success. The Center supplements the classroom experience with individual and group assistance from professional staff and peer tutors, who help students develop specific strategies for learning, time management, test preparation, test-taking and other skills required for success in the college classroom.  The Academic Support Center also provides disability support and accommodations for students with documented disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA, 1990; ADAAA, 2008) and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

Academic support services and peer tutoring are available for all undergraduate students and disability support under the ADA is available to qualified students with disabilities enrolled in all College divisions.
