May Registration

May 21-23, 2013

All freshmen participate in May Registration.  The one-day program provides an opportunity for you and your parents to re-visit the campus and learn more about Moravian.  Most importantly, it provides an opportunity for you to meet with faculty advisors and upper-class student advisors, select courses for the fall term, and better understand our programs, resources, and support networks.  In addition, faculty advisors work with each incoming student to explain the curriculum and the requirements for majors, minors, concentrations, and graduation.   All new students attending Moravian College must participate in May Registration before beginning their first semester of study.

While May Registration is for entering students, we also offer a parallel program for their parents.  Unlike the student program, the parent program is optional.  The parent program introduces parents to college life at Moravian, the college administration, and provides an opportunity for parents to receive answers to any other questions they may have related to their student’s attendance at Moravian College.  One or both parents or guardians may attend the program.

Past participants (students and parents) continue to praise the program and give it high marks.  Many have said that the program makes the transition to college much easier.
