Moravian College is a residential campus with more than 75% of the undergraduate student body living on the Main Street (North) Campus or Hurd (South) Campus in a traditional residence hall or a more independent suite-style apartment unit. All full-time students are guaranteed housing on campus for four years. However, juniors and seniors in good standing with the College can apply to live off-campus. In addition, students living with a parent or a legal guardian within a 50-mile radius can choose to commute to campus.

Living on campus provides the opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the college experience while taking advantage of community development activities and participating in numerous campus activities. Our hope is that through their residential experience, students will learn from one another as well as about themselves. Residence hall living helps students realize the effect of their actions on those around them, develop a sensitivity to their society, practice self-discipline, and enhance skills in interpersonal relationships.
