My first field experience in the classroom was at Farmersville Elementary School. I was placed in a Kindergarten Class, and my cooperating teacher was Mrs. McCauley. I was very excited to be working with Kindergarden students, but I didn't know exactly what to expect. My cooperating teacher was very helpful and gave me a lot of insite and was very interested in my experiences and having me help as much as possible with the class. I was very involved and grew very close to the students. I learned a lot about teaching through this placement and how to be energetic and motivating teacher. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and learned a lot about the fundamentals of being a teacher.
Farmersville Elementary School
My second experience in the classroom was at Fountain Hill Elementary School. I was place in a second grade class, and my cooperating teacher was Ms. George. This experience was a lot different than my first one, but I enjoyed it immensly. My cooperating teacher was very helpful and willing to answer any questions that I would have. She enjoyed teaching me how to teach and gave me a lot of responsabilities in the classroom. I learned a lot about helping students and being actively invloved.
