Information: Hi, my name is Nicole Benson! I am a Junior at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I major in Elementary Education and English. When I graduate in 2012, I plan on teaching in an elementary classroom. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was young, so I am looking forward to having my own classroom! |

Activities: At Moravian College, I have kept busy! My Freshman year I played Lacrosse. My Sophomore year I was involved in the TLC program. It is when college students get paired up with fourth or fifth graders and meet with them once a week as a mentor. This oppurtunity was wonderful because I had an opportunity to see how much of a difference one can make in someones life, as well as influencing them in a positive way! This experience made me realize that one day I can make a difference in many students lives, not just one. My junior year, which I am currently in now, has been great! I was asked to be the assistant of the TLC program, which is awesome! I am now in charge of planning events, making invitations, paperwork, and any other activities that the supervisor needs me to do! I really love it! I am also apart of KDP, which is an honor society for Education majors. |
| More Information: I was born in Orlando Florida, but when my parents got divorced I moved to New Jersey. I have lived in the Ocean City area since I was about 4 years old. Since both of my parents are re-married, I have a pretty big family! I have my dad, step-mom and two half sisters that live in Florida, and my mom, step-dad, two step-brothers, and sister that live with me in New Jersey. I am really close to my sister now that we are older! I really love my family and spending time with them, but I also love being with my friends and boy friend! My favorite thing to do is cook/bake. My favorite color is pink or purple (I like them both equally). My favorite food is ice cream. |
