I have had a total of four experiences including my one in my senior year of high school. Each year I feel I learn a different trait that is essential to becoming a teaching. I have also been able to perform more and more with each year in the field, this confidence has also been the reason why I have been able to grow as a teacher in training.
My next placement was at Hanover Elementary School in my freshman year at Moravian. I began this experience in the spring of 2008. I had this experience with Mrs. Masemore who taught kindergarten. This experience was essential for me in the way that I figured out what level I may not be as specialized at.
My next placement was at James Buchanan Elementary School, which was in the second grade. My cooperating teacher was Mrs. Blatnik and this was by far my best experience so far in my short time. This grade level was a great learning experience for me and gave me ideas for my own room some day.
My last experience so far is my current placement in fifth grade at Lincoln Elementary School. I have Mrs. Bortz as my cooperating teacher and she has been nothing but a great learning experience for my future! Each day I seem to learn something new and better from her. I enjoyed each of my placements thus far and I can’t wait until I move into student teaching and eventually getting my own classroom some day.
My Field Experience
Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school.

My first experience was at the Whitehall Middle School, and I was placed in the sixth grade with Mrs. Gierula. This placement was part of my career education class. I learned a lot from this experience. I had Mrs. Gierula in sixth grade so to go from having her as a student to being in her classroom as a student teacher, that was exciting!
