I
believe
every child can learn. As a teacher, I do everything
that I can to ensure that happens. I incorporate hands-on
activities in my lessons that provide students many opportunities to
grow and learn by actively engaging in the material, rather than
sitting at a desk all day filling in worksheets. I believe art and music are
crucial to students' development. As a result, I incorporate many artistic and musical activities into my lessons,
again, to provide
students with
opportunities to learn. School is not just about
sitting and doing work,
it is about
learning while having fun. I strive to make school fun for my students and I do so
by providing a wide variety of learning activities that adhere to all types of learners. Every student can
learn. It is up to the teacher to know how to teach
those who seem like the "unteachable".
