I
am
a
2009
graduate
of Stroudsburg High School, located in Stroudsburg,
Pennsylvania. In high school, I was involved in several
organizations. Junior and Senior year, I was a part of our
musicals and enjoyed all of the time that I got to spend with my
friends and learning about all of the hard work and planning that went
into such a large production. I was also a member of the National
Honor Society which allowed me the opportunity to take part in various
volunteer opportunities both at school and in the community, like blood
drives, or holiday breakfasts.

| Junior year, I joined Future Business Leaders of America, and I was able to take away many great memories and experiences from there as well. Junior year, I competed with two of my close friends and placed 1st in the Entrepreneurship category at the Regional Competition Level. Senior year, I was elected treasurer and was responsible for the group's finances and fundraising endeavors. That year, I also competed on my own in the Client Services category and placed 1st at the Regional Level and 3rd at the State Level. | ![]() |

After
graudating
from
High
School,
I decided to attend Moravian
College. I am now a sophomore Spanish and Secondary Education
Major and I appreciate all of the opportunities that I have been given
here. I am part of the Peace and Justice Club in which I am able
to help make a difference and speak up about things that are very
important to me, like the welfare of animals and others.

I
am also a part of the Sigma Sigma Sigma national
sorority and I served as President for the 2010-2011 school year.
This not only gave me the opportunity to better my leadership skills,
but has also opened many volunteer opportunities to better the school
and the local community, but has also awarded me with numerous
everlasting friendships. Because of my involvement with Sigma, I
have been able to work with a
local mentoring program in which I mentor troubled youth from the local
Bethlehem/Allentown area. This has not only reaffirmed everything
that helped me decide to become a teacher in
the first place, but has also
given
me the opportunity to help make even more of an impact in the community. |
