Fall 2010-
        My first field experience was in the fall semester of 2010 at Fountain Hill Elementary School.  I was placed in a kindergarten classroom where I observed at participated two days a week for two hours at a time.  For a first experience, it ended up being a positive one and I really enjoyed the class I was placed with and learned a lot from my cooperating teacher as well.

Spring 2011-
        My field experience in the spring semester of 2011 was at James Buchanan Elementary School.  For this time I was placed in a second grade classroom and like my first experience, I observed and participated two days a week for two hours at a time.  At James Buchanan, my cooperating teacher let me become more involved and I was able to teach whole lessons.  It was a really good experience because I got more experience working with the students.
