About Me
My
name is Jeremy Davidheiser and I am a junior English major at
Moravian College. My primary interests in academia are literary
theory, the nineteenth-century novel, gender studies, and
psychoanalysis. I intend to apply in the fall to graduate
programs, and my recent semesters have been characterized by this
endeavor. Considering my aspiration to obtain my PhD, my
pedagogical concerns are for secondary education and college
professorship.
My educational
experience has aided in the development of my theory of
education. I intend, in my teaching, to emphasize a passionate,
multidisciplinary approach to the study of literature. My
fascination with theory has informed my reading and convinced me
that a more critical approach to literary study is necessary to
implement in high-school English classrooms.
