Besides from wanting to become a teacher, I have always
wanted to become known for my music. Music has always been
a huge part of my life and I hope to incorporate music
into my classroom. At the age of three, I taught myself to
play the piano and by thirteen I had taught myself to play
the guitar. Within the last two years, I began playing the
ukulele and play any instrument that I can get my hands
on. I love writing my own songs and performing has always
been a large part of my life. I participated in my high
school's talent show from tenth through twelfth grade, and
also performed a song that I wrote myself during my
baccalaureate.

Also in high school, I played Field Hockey and was captain
of the team my Senior year. Being part of a team is
something that I can't exactly describe, but the feeling
of being able to help yourself, as well as help the rest
of the team is something that I will never be able to
forget. Playing Field Hockey made me understand the
importance of teamwork and the importance of listening to
others and having others listen to you.

In
high school, I was also very involved in theater. I didn't
participate in the Drama Club throughout all my four years
of high school, but my Sophomore year I played a duel role
in the school's fall play and Senior year I played one of
the leads in the musical 'The Sound of Music.'
Participating in the Drama Club helped me realize how
important repetition is and how great it feels to be part
of something successful, surrounded by people who mean the
world to you.

One thing a lot of people know about me is that I love my
family. I have a relatively large family and I wouldn't
change that for the world. My aunts and uncles are more
like another mom or dad to me, and my cousins are more
like friends than relatives. I also have a dog, a cat, a
hamster, and fish. I love my family so much and they are
always there to support me in everything that I do.
