Educational Experience
In 1985 I received a degree in accounting from Moravian College. Presently I am in my second year at Moravian pursuing a post -baccalaureate teacher certification in elementary education. My first field experience was with Mrs. Joan Fogel at RASA. During this experience I conducted group readings with fourth and fifth grade language arts students. I assisted students with homework assignments during the after school session. Finally, I provided one on one reading assistance to students.

Although I am beginning my journey into elementary education, I do have some experiences in working with children. For the past two years I have been teaching first and second grade Sunday school at St Paul's UCC in Trexlertown. Through my employment as a Special Agent I participated in outreach programs which included speaking at local schools and organizing the Criminal Investigation portion of "Bring Your Son/Daughter to Work Day."
I do have extensive experience in peer instruction which I can carry into my career as an elementary school teacher. During my employment as a Special Agent I conducted numerous teaching assignments including teaching tax law to new Special Agents at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA. I was also responsible for teaching computer software classes to my peers. From 1998 through 2005 I was a Special Agent/Computer Investigative Specialist. While in this position I was responsible for instructing fellow specialists in computer forensic software and speaking at our national Continuing Professional Education seminars. I also had the opportunity to teach forensic software classes at the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) conference and at various federal/state/local law enforcement training sessions.
I enjoy being in the classroom both as a student and instructor. I look forward to my upcoming field experiences and the new opportunities to teach.
