High School
Hi my name is Jake Hildebrand. I graduated from Emmaus
High School in 2009. In high school I was the co-founder
and three time Vice President of the Emmaus High School Chapter
of Habitat for Humanity. I was a member of the National
Honor Society and actively participated in community service
events. I was also a member of the football team where I
received three varsity letters. My senior year I was named
team captain. Following my senior year season, I was the
recipient of the Football Scholar Athlete Award. Upon the
conclusion of my senior year, I received the Principle's Award
given my Principle David Piperatto for outstanding performance
in the classroom, leadership, athletics, and school spirit.
College
I am currently a Junior at Moravian College. From the
beginning of my collegiate journey I have been completely
immersed in the Mathematics and Education field. I have
taken a wide variety of math courses that have further enhanced
my math knowledge. I have taken education courses that
focus on teaching students with disabilities and diverse
backgrounds. I am a four year member of the football team
in which I was privileged to be named team captain for the 2012
season. Along with 9 other teammates I am a member of the
Greyhound Leadership Council. In my free time I enjoy
studying mathematics, computing problems, watching sports,
reading, and spending time with family and friends.
