| Professional Experience Professional Background While a student at the
University of Florida, I worked for non-profit
organizations and also started in the music
business, first as a volunteer coordinator at
a music production company running a festival
in 1995. I continued after graduation
and served as a co-producer and Director of
Media and Public Relations for one of the
largest music festivals in north
Florida. After consecutive successful
festivals, I relocated to California where I
was account executive at a Public Relations
firm and a year later, began a full-time
career owning and operating my own music
business.
Big Red Barn Productions, LLC Manager, Co-Owner November 1999-present For more than a decade, I have managed and operated a music production company. I have booked, produced, promoted and managed many events worldwide, and have also been instrumental in raising money for charitable causes. Besides managing
the careers of many
artists and
musicians,
my achievements include booking, producing and
managing sold-out concerts
in San Francisco,
New York, Chicago, Europe, Japan,
and many other places,
both domestic
and international.
I have also
exclusively
operated
the merchandising sector of the business.
My experiences
have afforded me the opportunity to travel
worldwide, interact with many cultures and
diverse populations, work
together with many international luminaries, and
operate a successful business. |
King Hussein Golf Tournament - Morocco Event Photographer November 1999 I had the distinct honor to work as a staff photographer for his Majesty, King Mohammed VI of Morocco as part of the 28th Hassan II Golf Trophy. This event was especially meaningful because the reigning king of four decades, King Hassan II had just passed and his son had taken the throne. Through my photojournalism duties, I interacted with many international dignitaries and heads of state from around the world (including United States), worked with international golfers, visited the former king's tomb as part of the royal entourage, and visited ancient cities such as Fez, Marrakesh and Casablanca. This had been my second visit to Morocco, but this trip provided me with the most unique cultural and professional experiences I ever had up until that point. I personally met the King of Morocco, the prince and princess, as well as participating in many outstanding traditional events in this beautiful country. ![]() |

FL/ Tortuguero, Costa Rica PR Intern/ Manager Museum Visitor Center January 1993-August 1993 Working as a public relations intern for this international non-profit organization, I was offered the opportunity to to manage the museum and visitor center at their remote biological field station in Tortuguero, Costa Rica. I spent the summer working with visitors and volunteers from around the world, who came to learn about sea turtle habitat, migration and nesting. It was my responsibility to educate them about the rainforest and the wildlife and manage the daily operations of the center. I also contributed to on-site scientific research and observation. I had the chance to speak different languages (English, Spanish and German) and connect with an international community. Furthermore, this experience afforded me the opportunity to travel throughout Central America, visiting countries such as Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua and interactwith indigenous cultures. ![]() |
