About Me

Basic Information: Hello! My name is Stevie Klie.  I attended Wayne Hills High School in Wayne, New Jersey.  I was actively involved in sports, National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society and the Future Teachers of America. I played lacrosse for three years of my high school career.  I was a four year member of the field hockey team and in my senior year I was awarded with All County, All North Jersey, and All League. Now, I am a Sophomore at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  I am majoring in Mathematics with a Secondary Education Certification.  I plan to teach 7th or 8th graders and I am extremely excited about it!

Activites: At Moravian College I am a member of the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority on campus, where I am the Social Chair.  As well as a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the National Education Honor Society.  Also, I peer tutor for the learning services center for individual students who need help in Mathematics. Outside of Moravian, I work as a sales person at Bottle King in Wayne, New Jersey.  Being a sales person has given me the skills to work well with others as well as work under authority.

Other Information: I was born and grew up in Wayne, New Jersey.  On my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my family, and friends.  Also, I really enjoy traveling, I have been to Jamaica several times, the Bahamas, and California.  In the Spring of 2012 I plan to study abroad in Spain and I cannot wait! Since I was young, I have always dreamed of having my own classroom and students.  Also, I have always had a passion for math and am so happy I am able to do what I love in college.  Once I graduate, I cannot wait to put my two dreams together and have my own mathematics class.
