I participate in the America
Reads program here at Moravian College. The America Reads program entitles you to go to a site location off campus and tutor elementary students. I am currently tutoring at the after-school program at the Salvation Army. I am also involved in Gamma Sigma Sigma, the National Service Sorority. I was elected the position of Vice President of Service for the spring and fall semesters of 2010. I was also inducted into Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honors Society of Education in December of 2009.The Kappa Delta Pi chapter on campus offers its members education forums, job fairs, and mock interviews. |
| Other Activities: Off campus, I am involved with the Foster and Adoptive Family Services in New Jersey. I volunteer at their annual holiday party and babysit during their monthly meetings, during my breaks from college. I also babysit three foster children on a regular basis. In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, reading, and doing arts and crafts. |
