Basic Information: Hello! My name is Tyler Merrick and I am a Junior at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I am majoring in Secondary Education with a focus in History. I will graduate in 2014 and extremely excited to have my own classroom! For my entire life I have lived in the wonderful city on the river, Easton, Pennsylvania. I have been blessed with two loving parents and three of the best sisters a brother could ask for. I attended Easton Area High School and graduated with the class of 2010 |

Activities: I love attending Moravian College
and getting involved here on campus. I am a member
of Sigma Phi Epsilon, a fraternity here on campus. I
have just started my second term as the Vice
President of Recruitment. I am also a member of the
History Club here on campus. Recently I have just
gotten involved with a mentoring program with at
risk students at Liberty High School, also located
in Bethlehem

| Other Information: Sports have always been a huge interest and passion of mine. From the time I was little I was throwing a football, and I played until I graduated high school. I still go back and help coach the Palmer Township Midget Football Team. Other than sports, family means the world to me. No matter what I do in life I always do it with my family in mind. Since I was a child I've always wanted to help people anyway that I can. I must have flip flopped hundreds of time but I realized after one field experience that teaching was truly for me. |
