International is a worldwide campaigning movement that works to promote
all the human rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
and other international standards. In particular, Amnesty International
campaigns to free all prisoners of conscience; ensure fair and prompt
trials for political prisoners; abolish the death penalty, torture and
other cruel treatment of prisoners; end political killings and "disappearances";

Israel and Palestine
Conflict Forum/Debate
Amnesty International at Moravian College and Political Forum organized
the Israel and Palestine Conflict Forum/Debate a week before final exams
on Spring 2002. Moderated by Dr. Robert Brill. The forum/debate was one
of the most widely attended event on the campus that semester.

Amnesty International organized the first ever Annual Environment Trivia
Contest 1:00 pm on April 21st (SUNDAY) in HUB .
