The
historians at Moravian College, students and faculty, have never
had a club, but we feel that this is very much needed.
The
club presents opportunities, not only to become familiar with other
students and faculty members, but to share in the discovery of history.
We can make trips to New York City, Washington, D.C., Boston, Philadelphia,
and Williamsburg and visit museums, historic house museums, research
centers, and education and outreach centers.
We
will invite guest speakers, sponsor films, volunteer in Historic
Bethlehem and surrounding communities, and create a History Club
web page. We might also have lunches with the faculty and of course--parties.
