My First Field Experience placement was at Marvine Elementary in the spring of 2011.  I worked along side my corroporating teacher, Mr. Weikert, and her afternoon kindergarten class.  While I was there I read to the students and assisted Mrs. Weikert with any testing that was required for the students.





 
My Second Placement was at Calypso Elementary in the Fall of 201.  I worked along side my corroporating teacher Mrs. Venable and her first grade class.  While I was at this placement I assisted Mrs. Venable with the morning meeting process and read aloud to the students on a daily basis.  I also completed guided reading lesson plans and various other literacy lesson plans.




My Pre-student teaching placement was at Freemasburg Elementary in the spring of 2012.  I was placed with my cooroporating teacher, Miss Korves and her 5th grade class.  During this placement I assisted Miss Korves with Social studies lessons on the Civil War, mathematics lessons on measurement using a ruler, and lead a small reading group on a daily basis.  I also got to observe the children complete their read 180 programs on a daily basis.




 
I have had an enjoyabe experience at each of my placements and have thoroughly enjoyed teaching each grade level that I have had the opportunity to work with.  Guiding students to realize their true potential is something that I am very passionate about.
