| My name is Justine Ramos.
I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 22,
1990. However, I was raised in the towns of Vineland,
Somers Point, and Bayville, New Jersey. I am Cuban and
Puerto Rican. Growing up, I spoke both English and
Spanish. So, now I truly developed a passion for
teaching English Language Learners. |

My family and friends are
extremely important to me. I have a younger brother,
Jalen, who is my best friend. He is now a freshman at
Rutgers University. He is on the wrestling team as
well. I am also very close with my parents and
grandparents.

Growing up, I was interested in
many things. I was a ballerina for fifteen years. I
also played softball for ten years. In high school I
was a part of the three varsity teams, softball,
swimming, and cross country. I love to run! I was also
very involved with the Key Club. I really enjoy
volunteering.

Reading is one of my main hobbies.
Some of my favorite authors are Jodi Picoult and
Harlan Coben. Reading is actually my favorite subject
to teach, next to math. I believe children should be
read to while they are still in the womb and even
right after their born. It improves their cognitive
development!

While attending Moravian
College, I was a Psychology and Elementary Education
major. I also became very involved. I was initiated into
the Zeta Tau Alpha women's fraternity. There, I held two
major positions which were, VPIII Recruitment Chair and
VPII New Member Coordinator. Zeta Tau Alpha's national
philanthropy is Breast Cancer Education and Awareness,
so I was very busy with raising money for that. I was
also a part of Colleges Against Cancer and Relay for
Life. |
Teaching is my passion! My
favorite part is just seeing the student's look on
their face when they finally understand a concept. It
is very special to me and makes teaching extremely
worth while.
